I would like to invite you to a special and intimate concert at my home in Aalborg. Together with my dear friend and colleague, Mika Akim, I will be performing a selection of brand new songs I have been working on.
The concert will take place in my private home with a very limited number of seats. If you would like to attend, please apply by filling out the form below.
The concert will be held on Friday, April 10th, and will mark my first performance in Denmark in nearly a year. Almost exactly a year ago, I played my most recent Danish concert here in Aalborg together with Aalborg Symphony Orchestra, performing a selection of songs from my back catalogue. It was an incredibly meaningful experience, and I remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to celebrate my musical journey.
This upcoming concert will, in many ways, be the complete opposite. Rather than a large orchestral setting, I want to invite you into the intimate surroundings of my home for a fully acoustic performance consisting entirely of unreleased material. The evening will offer a glimpse into my creative world and the process behind new songs before they are released.
After a longer period of struggling with stage fright and anxiety, this concert is also a personal step — an attempt to open up and perform new, still vulnerable songs in a setting that feels safe and genuine, surrounded by a small and dedicated audience.
The concert will be recorded and filmed.
During the evening, Mika will also present songs from her beautiful new album “Feb 28.”— an album I highly recommend everyone to listen to.
The record was captured in a single day at The Creamery Studio in New York, performed solo on baroque viola, piano, and guitar, recorded directly to tape and later mixed and mastered on tape.
I have followed Mika’s artistic journey for many years and have heard her perform in several different constellations. She, among other wonderful musicians and friends, has also been recording with me on these new songs. I hold her work in the highest regard and I am very excited to share the evening with her.

The concert will be pay-what-you-want at the door, and all proceeds will go toward covering the expenses of the event.
There will be a served cold drinks during the evening. Out of consideration for my neighbours, those who wish to continue the evening with us afterwards are warmly invited to join us at Basement, a small and cozy bar just a short walk away.
